7 Feather Headdress ~ 1950'sIndian Brave Feathered War Bonnet1950's Dime Store Package This exceptional Indian war bonnet contains 7 real feathers. The are distinctively dyed bright colors and are mounted on a die cut, punch and folded head band with an elastic strap across the back. The band is 7 ½ inches wide, and has extraordinary Indian graphics including the Phoenix Bird printed in 4 colors. This is what a nickel would buy in the 1950's. The bonnet comes in a clear bag with a top tag featuring a remarkable cameo of an Indian.
We found a small quantity packed in a box in an old dime store slated for demolition. Hasn't seen daylight for almost 50 years! No fading, No rips, Perfect Condition.
