John Deere Model “GP” Tractor

The GP stands for general purpose. It was made from 1928 through 1935. It was the first John Deere Tractor with 4 sources of power! It had a drawbar for pulling, a belt pulley, a power take-off and a Power lift. The GP had an arched front axle that gave it a higher clearance than others. It used the 2 cylinder kerosene burning engine. This drawing perspective has it setting in front of the barn side.
