Set of Three Different

Tin Litho Pocket Matchbox Holders

1930’s Cigarette Graphics

These 3 pocket Match Box holders resemble small packs of cigarettes. Not a cheap paper covered tin, but genuine quality Tin Lithography. Phenomenal Graphics! Matchbox holders clipped around a box of matches, keeping them tightly in place. These were given out by Cigarette companies in England as an advertising campaign.

All 3 feature English Brand Tobacco cigarettes advertising. One is “Bears Elephant Cigarettes” London. It features a detailed elephant on the front and back. Another features a Gentleman in a Top Hat called “Passing Show” Cork Tipped Virginia Cigarettes. The third is “Neptune Navy Cut” Cigarettes. It’s graphics are of a Sailing Schooner at sea. Here is a close up.
