1950’s & 1960’s ~ Unusual Flavors

This collection has five 1950’s waxed style containers and a 1962 plastic container. 2 do not have lids, but 4 have the original lids. All are unused and in Perfect Condition. Several are unusual flavors or mixes. Here is a shot of the tops

2. 1956 Twin Pines Dairy, “Small Curd Creamed Cottage Cheese” From Detroit, Mich. One Pint. 3 different illustrations of Cottage Cheese fruit salads in ice cream dishes. Red, Green & Blue graphics. (No Lid)

3. Mid 1950’s “Cottage Cheese” from Hall Brothers Dairy Farms, Norman Bridge Road, Montgomery 5, ALA. Snap on Lid. 12 Ozs. Orange and Navy Blue printing.

4. 1959 Beatrice Foods Co. “Meadow Gold” Creamed Cottage Cheese With Pineapple. 1 Lb. Sharp dairy illustrations with cows, chickens and a red barn with a chicken wind vane and silo. A white rail fence goes past an apple tree to the farm house. Remarkable Dairy Farm Graphics. Snap on Lid featuring 2 pineapples. Red & Green graphics and printing.

5. 1949 Deans Country Charm, “Creamed Cottage Cheese” With Pineapple & Orange. I Lb. Both the container and the Snap on Lid feature the famous “Dean Foods” Bird on a Mailbox logo. Rockford ILL. Conway, ARK. Louisville, KY. Rochester, IND. Memphis, TENN.

6. 1962 Thompson’s Finer “Old Fashioned Cottage Cheese”, 4% Milkfat Minimum. Grade A, Large Curd. 1 Lb. Fancy, Red, White & Blue carton and Snap on Lid. The Lid features an illustration of a horse drawn carriage followed by a dog.
