Democrat & Republican Gold Clad Metal Lapel Pin Set Donkey & Elephant ~ 1960’s Gulf Gas & Oil Promo In the early 1960’s Gulf Gas had a promo called “Extra Kick”. It was a variety of premium items that featured pairs of horse hoof shoes or Mule hoof shoes, etc. This set obviously came out during election season. One of the pins has Donkey Hoof shoes with a donkey’s head in the center. The other has an Elephant pair of hoof shoes with an elephant in the center. They are about the size of a nickel.
 Each come with the spring back pin clamp and is inserted through a small piece of cardboard that has the “GULF” logo on it. Quality items. Both are in Perfect Condition. You get the set, you get both for one money!
