Rubber Wheels ~ Friction Drive

Tokyo Tower Coach

Tin Litho Bus with Box

It’s called the “Tokyo Tower Coach”. It is almost a foot long and stands 3 ½ inches high. Robust Friction Flywheel drive. The Tin Lithography features on its top are The Tokyo Tower, The Tokyo Airport and a Japanese Pagoda Home on a Hillside. The side graphics include realistic peoples heads sitting behind the busses windows, making it look like a real motor coach tour bus, typical of the 1950’s Japan exports it emulates.

This replica motor coach will run quite some distance on one revving of the drive mechanism. Made by Manohar Toys of India, it uses the traditional folded tin tab construction and slotted screws on the underside. Still in it’s colorful, Illustrated Box, it has No dings, No rust, not old. Insignificant handling scuffs. Remarkable lithographed color details. Even the front windshield shows the driver and tour guides faces. We pack it securely and send it First Class U.S. Postal.
