The cannons have slightly tapered barrels. Rubber doesn't last long in the air or warmth or sunshine. Rubber degrades in a period of years. We came across a small milk crate of Kilgore Cannons and mortars and need balls for them to be complete. We had these manufactured by a rubber ball company. They are the exact size to tamp into the barrel and the right elasticity to block the air pressure for a powerful shot. They have non-porous skin and the right bounce resiliency and the perfect size to work perfectly with the old Fire Cracker cannons. The minimum order for custom rubber balls is substantial and we only needed a few dozen, so we are sharing our extras with other collectors. You get a set of 3 brand new rubber balls that will give you a few years of fun. If you wrap them in an airtight saran wrap and keep them dark, They will last for years. Play with one and store the other 2. The photo shows the cannon and mortar so you can see how they fit. They are not included. You are getting a set of 3 rubber balls that fit these devices.
