Tobacco Store Display of 1 Dozen

Cigarette Holders

1950’s Die Cut Display Card

This die cut, scalloped display card is from a 1950’s Tobacco Store distributor. It features deep blue printing on a 12 inch wide by 6 inch high scalloped top display card. The card is designed with two fold down flaps containing 6 holes that line up with 6 fingers from the lower part of the card. Each finger and tab hole suspends a cigarette holder.

The Cigarette holders are 2 ½ inches long and are uniquely faceted for easy, no slip, grasping. They have a tapered round end that grip the cigarette butt firmly (filter or non-filter), and a flattened mouthpiece sculptured tip. These were in vogue in the 1940’s and 50’s and considered fashionable and stylish when public smoking was at its peak in the US. You get the complete set of 12, mounted in the point of sale display, all in Perfect Condition. No folds, no nips, no tears or smudges. The display card says, “Best Made Cigarette Holders” at the top. Near the bottom it says, “Made in U.S.A.” Tobacco Store collectables don’t get better than this!
