Wonder Target Peas & Target Peas & Target ~ 1960’s Pea Shooter Accessory  This Envelop of special peas were Packaged for Pea Shooters. The Bag opens up into a Red, Yellow, White and Blue Concentric ring target with scoring points and a bulls eye. The bag contains about 60 or 70 special peas. In the 60’s when they were packaged they were perfect for pea shooters, but some age drying has occurred and about ¼ of them are “powdering”. This packet was sold for 10¢ next to the pea shooters at the variety or Dime Store. It makes a wonderful display. I have an unopened packet in my collection next to some fancy tin pea shooters in my dime store display case. Unusual accessory! Target & Peas, unopened! The size of the packet is 5 ¼ inches high and 3 inches wide. When opened up, the target area is 4 ½ inches in diameter on a 5 by 6 inch paper that you tack or tape to a box, wall or plank.  |
