Health Remedy Fruit Drink


This exceptional cardboard sign is typical of turn-of-the-century "Point of Sale" advertising of the plethora of "Healthy Beverages" that were just starting to gain popularity. It would be sold at Soda Fountains, Pharmacies, and Drug Stores. The sign would usually be taped to the back mirror behind the soda jerks station.

It is 9 ½ inches across and 5 ½ inches high. Green printing, it says, In Real Hot Weather Ask Your Doctor ~ What Real Lime Drink is for Your Stomach ~ Drink ~ First Aid ~ Lime, It's Pure Flavor. It's never seen daylight, but there is considerable age patina fading along the edge. No folds, no nips, the cardboard has the typical patina of age with slight yellowing, otherwise, Perfect Condition. Sharp framer.
