Die Cut Pocketed Stand & Bottle


This Store Countertop Display Set is typical of the outstanding Point of Sale marketing styles used in the 1920's. The thick, die cut cardboard display, stands 11 inches tall and is 8 inches wide. Printed in Red, Blue & Yellow, it has a unique folding pocket arrangement that allows it to display up to 3 different size & shape bottles of the product. The product is bluing, a bleach-like substance called American Blue. The display marquis has an illustration of a bottle with a crimped lid. It says, "American Extra Strength Blue ~ Makes Clothes Snow White". Produced by America Bluing Co. Buffalo, N.Y. Will Not Spot or Streak. The display set includes one of their bottles (Sorry, No Lid).

The display card has a scalloped shape and a unique folded foot base that holds it stable on the counter top and a tab tuck pocket for clamping display bottles of bluing (One Included!). The words "Extra Strength" are in a curled banner bifurcated by a remarkable illustration of a 2 ounce bottle of American Blue. The bottle included with the display set is heavy glass. It is square and 4 ½ inches tall. It’s heavy, 1 Lb. shipping weight. Buyer pays priority mailing costs depending on Zip code.
