Old Blue Medicine Bottle Bromo Cedin ~ For Headaches Cobalt Blue Wavy Glass ~ RARE This rare beautiful cobalt blue medicine bottle stands 5 ½ inches tall. It has embossed letters near the bottom that says, Bromo – Cedin ~ For Headaches. Old Rx Drug Store Pharmacy Apothecary with Laudanum.
We found a partial box of empty, unused bottles in "egg crate" separators to keep them from bumping. It appears to have a top similar to pop bottles that would accommodate a crimped on crown cap although the neck looks like it would take a cork as well.
When an old bottle says, "For Headaches" you know it probably has Codeine or another Opiate derivative in it. Bromo-Cedin contained Laudanum, a tincture of opium. Side seams and noticeably significant waviness in the glass. It is old. No chips, no scratches, Perfect Condition. We pack it securely and send it First Class U.S. Postal.
