Cork & Metal Crown Top 1898 Perfume Style Bottle Lenzo ~ Eyeglass Lens Wash This magnificent little bottle stands 3 ¾ inches tall, 2 inches wide at the base.. It is thick glass, shaped kind of like the Eiffel tower. The labels are completely intact! The top is cast metal with a cork underside. It looks like and ornate crown with highly detailed features in the metal. I call it a perfume bottle, because that's what it was designed for. It was used by a Jeweler ~ Optician to hold an eyeglass cleaning solution. The label says it all. ![]() See Photo Below This fancy bottle has seamed sides and a ground neck top. The underside of bottom has cast into the glass, "LENZ O 2". The cork is dry, but intact. The cork crown metal lid is ornately designed with extravagant minute details. This bottle is in Perfect Condition. It has both a front label and a neck label. The label says, "For Eye Glasses ~ Lenzo ~ Apply a few drops on lenses then polish. Prepared for ~ WM. G. SCHEEFER ~ Jeweler – Optician ~ Successor to M. M. Munn & Co. Saranac Lake N.Y.". Then at the bottom of the label it says By the Lenzo Co. Phila. The neck label just says LENZO. The label's background is a gilded surface. It is flooded evenly with actual gold gilded ink, giving it that sparkling glitter. Gilded ink is formulated using genuine gold flake, a prominent technique for marketing upscale products from that era with radiance. Gilded printing has rarely been done since the 1930's. It radiates elegance. ![]() Illinois residents pay sales tax. We're happy to combine shipments where practical to save you $$$.
