Firecracker Shot Balls ~ Cast Iron Kilgore Fire Cracker Mortar With 2 New Rubber Balls This cast iron Mortar is a one piece, 3 leg base and barrel. It aims straight up. It is about 2 inches high and 1 ¾ inches wide. The rear of the barrel says Fire Cracker Mortar, with the Circle K old Kilgore Logo in the center.
See Photo Below There is an opening at the bottom of the breach of the barrel to insert a standard 1 ½ inch fire cracker. It holds a 1 ¼ inch rubber ball. You insert the fire cracker into the breach hole, drop the ball into the barrel (it fits snugly), and light the fuse.  It will blast the ball up to 75 feet into the air! It is all cast iron. It appears to never have been painted. We bought a small box of these and some Kilgore Fire Cracker Cannons, individually wrapped in old oil paper at an estate auction near Columbus Ohio. Never been used. Minor surface rust spots as seen in photo, otherwise, Perfect Condition! We include 2 brand new red rubber balls that fit perfectly. You get the Mortar and 2 new red rubber balls.
