Chandlers was a major player in the patent medicine market from the turn of the century through WWII. This sign advertises Saccharin Pellets, Concentrated Sweetness in a Handy Form. One Pellet Equals one Teaspoon of Sugar. Pale yellow background with black lettering. A sign like this would have been placed in the front window or high on the back wall.
