Japan ~ Tin Litho ~ Indy Style

Race Car Set 1960’s

6 Cars ~ Round Store Display Card

This set of toys is typical of what a dime would buy in the 1960’s. Japan was exporting lots of tin lithographed toys in the 50’s and 60's, some were even made from old beer cans turned inside out, others from recycled war materials. They were made to sell cheap. Early Japan tin lithography has grown into a hot collectable!

This set consists of 6 distinctive Indy Style Race Cars, each a different color, and numbered 1 through 6, and over 1 ½ inches long. Exceptional 3 dimensional features litho’ed with highly refined details with distinguished characteristics expected in a 1960’s Japan import.
