10¢ Dime Store Bag Air Force Agates Marbles Air Force ~ Store Rack Display Bag This dime store bag of quality glass agate marbles is distinctive. It contains 18 marbles. They are solid colors with different variegated colors swirled about in the glass. These are large 5/8 inch marbles that were the standard for the 1950's & 60's era. Unused, still in their store rack display bag, with a top tag. Various assorted colors. The tag reads, 10 Cents ~ Alox Agates Air Force ~ Alox Mfg. Co. St. Louis, Mo. U.S.A. and has an image of an Air Force plane on it. The Marbles are old, but the bag & tag were made in the 1980's, so they are Mystery Marbles. The marbles are from old bulk stock, but they were bagged & tagged in new small bags for sale in military base stores by a Re-bagger / Distributor to the military base Px's . 18 marbles in all! Perfect Condition. You get the whole unopened bag of a dozen and a half. The military families kids would buy the brand that had their Mom or Dads service branch on them. This item is typical of the odd stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise distributors finds we made. If you like vintage Dime Store and Variety Store stuff, bookmark us. Notice :This item is a genuine vintage toy from an era when there were no safety standards. It probably contains, or is, a choking hazard, and probably includes other features that are not suitable for children to play with.
