Key Wind Up Motorized Walking Robot & Alien No Plastic ~ All Tin This pair of walking Space toys are both made of all tin. They operate on a removable key, wind up motorized clockwork mechanism. Robust construction, runs a long time on one winding. Unique format. Typical tab and slot construction. Made from old beer cans turned inside out. Typical 1950’s appearance. The robot has tin lithographed features, Free swinging arms with pincher style hands and adjustable wrists. His belly looks like gears, meters, belts and pulleys and other mechanical wizardry. He looks like he walked out of a 1950’s sci-fi movie. Alternating leg lifting walking action. He looks like something a mad professor would make. The Alien has hand painted features. Large green eyes, a sly smile, and his right arm is holding out a wrapped present. But Beware! It’s all a ploy. His left arm is held behind his back holding onto a space ray gun trying to lure you close enough to zap you! He too walks with alternating leg action. These guys are great fun to watch.
