You thread the disc down the screw-like shank of the launch rod. Then you lift a launch handle up rapidly causing the disc to rotate and fly up and off the end of the launcher, spinning up into the sky. These spinners fly for a long duration and can go some distance. The lit one produces 4 different concentric light rings as it flies and hovers. It even includes the batteries.
