Touche’ II ~ Porous Tip Pen Set

This is a rare delight for pen collectors. The Touche’ II is one of the first porous tip pens, prelude to the fiber tip pens being sold today. A Parker Pen collectors Must Have. This set includes the pen and 2 cartridges, black and emphasizer yellow. Emphasizer is what they called the first Highlighter style pen. This set marked the era when fountain pens were becoming obsolete.

This Parker Pen has the traditional Arrow pointed pocket clip. Made to look like a fountain pen with it’s wide barrel. Marketed in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, this set comes on a store display card with 2 ink cartridges. The back has instructions on how to change the cartridge. It sold for $1.98. Two sets are shown in the photo to see both sides. You get 1 unopened set of a random barrel color.
