Vintage Golden & Jeweled Whistle Store Display 1 Dozen Old Ball Style Whistles These extraordinarily ornate whistles glisten with metallic gold. Each whistle is the old fashioned internal “Ball” style whistle that were banned by early children’s toy safety rules. These are the fanciest vintage whistles you will ever see. Each whistle has elaborate scalloped ornamental features. The top and sides are bedecked with impressive intricate scrollwork. There are two large faceted jewels, one on each side, and four smaller jewels on the top, one shaped like a heart, one like a teardrop and two matching diamond shaped jewels. 
See Photo Below The whistles are attached to a soft neck tether and mounted on a die cut store display header. This extravagant Point of Sale exhibit was designed to hang in a Variety or Dime store. The illustrated display has images of 3 whistles along with marketing graphic text. Called the Classy Gold Whistle, they hang down from the display header on their tether from die cut features on the double sided card. The design allows for the whistle to be removed, examined, and put back without destroying the display. The whistles have an internal ball that adds a sharp warble to their loud shrill. You get all 12 whistles mounted to their die cut store display. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made.
