The story line is A Day in the Life of Elsie. It starts out with an introduction to Elsie and her family, husband Elmer, Daughter Bea (13 years old), and son Beau (Beauregard, 9 years old). As you follow Elsie through her day, She starts out feeding her Family breakfast featuring Milk. She packs lunches for everyone and sends them off to school and work. Day chores and activities, then the Kids coming home from school. They have dinner together, Read a bedtime book, and go to sleep.

Every page is colorable, has mazes, count the forks in the picture, etc.
