Snap Out Star World Saber Star Wars Space Sword Unsold Dime Store Display Card ~ 1977 This clever toy Star Saber is designed to Snap out to an impressive 4 foot length. It is a dime store knock-off made when the first movie was released in 1977. It is only 6 inches long when wound in. The ingenious mechanism is a tightly rolled paper coil with resilience like a spring. You hold it in your hand and flick your wrist and POW it is suddenly 4 feet long! Even though it is paper, it is sturdy and strong. Here is a shot of it “Open”. 
See Photo Below It comes packaged on it’s illustrated dime store display card, 5 by 11 ½ inches. The card has dynamic graphics that say, Star World Space Sword at the top. It also has instructions on how to use it, finishing with ”May the Fun Be With You”. It has the original rubber band that has dried out. Original unsold dime store merchandise from 1977. Works Great!
