1940’s Round Cap Gun

Skippy

Cap Shooting Device Paper Caps

Skippy was a brand of 1930’s & 40’s paper caps. They were made by Universal Playthings, Inc. Brooklyn NY. The Red, White and Blue box is 2 inches by 1 ¼ inches, ½ inch thick. It contains about 100 round paper caps. The package says, “Designed for all round cap guns, Single shot guns & cap shooting devices.”

The box features graphics of a Scottish terrier I assume was named Skippy. The ends of the box say 100 caps. Minor handling dings, nothing serious. We only have a few dozen of these. These caps are well over a half Century old and might not all fire or be as loud as fresh caps. The Box is a sought after collectors item. It contains about 100 caps, more or less. You get one box.
Notice : This item is a genuine vintage toy from an era when there were no safety standards. It probably contains, or is, a choking hazard, and probably includes other features that are not suitable for children to play with. It is not being sold as a toy for a child to play with, but as a genuine vintage collectable item for adults.
