Die Cast Toy ~ 1970 Police Car Ford Torino with Box Distinguished Ford Torino Police Car. This This sharp little Police Car is 2 ½ inches long. It is a 1970 Ford Torino painted white with red bumpers and red rooftop lights and siren unit. The side doors have a red, white and blue shield that says, Police. It was made in 1970 by Midgetoy. 
See Photo Below It has phenomenal details! Front hood air scoop, tail lights and the small flipped edge trunk tail. This was one car of a series of cars meant to compete with Matchbox. It is a high quality toy 35 years old! No scrapes, no dings, minor surface rust on axles and minor paint fleck handling patina, otherwise excellent condition. It comes with it’s original dime store display box as shown in the photo below. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made. If you like vintage Dime Store and Variety Store stuff, bookmark us. We pack it securely and send it First Class U.S. Postal.
