Tin Wind Up Toy Horse Race 3 Horses ~ Feature Action This Horse Race uses an ingenious wind up mechanism that combines several different action features. All tin, no plastic. Wind-up clockwork motor. Typical tab construction. The three horses are lined up with the starting gate bell. You wind it up and let it go. The horses start running, all the while bobbing up and down alternately to one another. The bell constantly goes ding, ding, ding, etc. The horses go a few feet in a straight line, then the mechanism pops a pivot out of the bottom under the bell, causes the whole set to whirl around the curve and go back in the opposite direction around the track. Then the mechanical pivot retracts and they run back toward the starting point. Exciting multiple activity action. The whole thing is 8 inches long and 3 inches high. Quality deep stamped tin lithographed details. Plenty of realistic color and action. Unique wind-up tin toy. It comes in it’s dime store display box that has an exceptional illustration of a horse race track. Quality built. No rust, no dings, no scratches, not old, Perfect Condition.
