Exceptional Quality! This tin tractor has it all! The steering wheel actually turns the front wheels. Look at the quality of the tie rod assembly and wheel bearing mounts. Slotted front grille. All deep stamped lithographed tin, Soft rubber wheels. Extraordinary detailed features, like the side mount front headlamps, exhaust stack, and mechanical integrity. Robust action features. The steering wheel & front wheel tie rod is strong and works well, the trailer hitch pin even has a capture chain!

The vigorous clockwork style motor has a 4 speed gear box transmission that actually snap shifts from the shift lever next to the tractor’s seat. 3 forward speeds, neutral and reverse. Same shift pattern as the real thing. Runs a long time on one winding. The on/off lever is at the drivers seat left side. Look closely at the quality characteristics of this farm machine. The key wind up hole is in the center of the right rear wheel axle.

Die cast steering wheel, hitch pin, etc. Mostly red and yellow, the deep stamped tin features are highlighted with 4 color tin lithographed detail. The trailer is also of high quality. The front wheels are on a live pivot from the hitch bar, rubber wheels, load chains, and the rear gate actually hinges down and is held in place by an L style latch pin on each side. Toy tractor sets don’t get more realistic than this.

The tractor is 6 inches long and the outside rear wheelbase is 3 ½ inches. It stands 4 inches tall. The trailer bed is 5 ¾ by 3 ¼ inches. The whole set coupled together is a little over 13 inches. It comes in it’s original box, with an era illustration of the whole setup on the cover. This is the finest quality wind up tin tractor I have ever seen. No scratches, no dings, no rust, not old, Perfect Condition, Works Great! You won’t find a better AG setup. This retro toy is just like the original 1950’s era production models. We pack it securely.
