Tin Wind Up Toy

Girl Dribbling Basketball

Bouncing Ball ~ Exciting Mechanical Action

This Tin wind-up toy has remarkable action. She stands 6 inches tall and bounces the ball from the floor to her hand, just like dribbling a basketball. Ingenious mechanical mechanism. The key wound clock motor causes her hand to go up and down synchronous with the ball. The ball is suspended at the end of a small spring steel wire. The balls vertical pendulum effect on the spring steel wire, combined with the palm of the girls hand slapping the ball each cycle causes the exact timing to bounce the ball up and down smoothly with resonant frequency regularity. To keep the whole thing balanced, her other arm swings back and forth just like a real person would do. Extraordinary visual impact. Fun to watch.
