Die Cast Toy Sports Car Lamborghini Sports Car ~ 1960’s Dime Store Display Box This small die cast car is 2 inches long. It was made by Midgetoy in the late 1960’s. The phenomenal characteristics of the Lamborghini Sports Car design built from 1966 thru 1968 are readily evident. The Gull wing doors, large front, side and rear air scoops and the mini spoiler and blunt tail end make this a unique die cast toy car.

See Photo Below This unique toy was part of a series of sports cars made by Midgetoy from the late 1960’s through the mid 1970’s. It comes in it’s original Dime Store Display Box! The box is a one piece box with a “back tab” that could sit on a counter or be hung from a peg display. It is pre-marked 49¢ and has the traditional Midgetoy elves and a nice illustration of a late 60’s sport car. Minor surface rust on the axles, otherwise, Perfect Condition. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made. If you like vintage Dime Store and Variety Store stuff, bookmark us.
