This Game Set was made in the 1960's The British Crown Colony of Honk Kong. 3 individual games are included, a Chess Set, a Checker Set and a Chinese Checkers Set. They come in a heavy duty, lid and base style cardboard store display box. The nest of 3 games is under cellophane, and it comes with an instruction sheet for all 3 games.

Each game has it's own box with a pegboard style playfield and a crystal clear lid that snaps on and holds all the pieces down in their positions so you can put in your purse or briefcase and start out where you left off later! Each game is 4 inches square and 1 inch thick. The 3 games have all the individual pieces needed, with a "peg" bottom that plugs into the playfield base. That makes it tip proof and when the lid is on, all the pieces stay as they are. You can finish your chess game later!

The chess set has all 32 playing pieces, easily distinguishable. The Chinese Checkers has 6 different colored sets of 6 markers (36 in all) and the checker set has 12 each (24) of the traditional Red and Black pieces. They have a special feature that allows you to snap one into the top of another when you "King" someone! Called Travel Trio, it was a popular item in the mid 1960's when America started to move around a lot. In fact the box says,

Original, unsold stock found in the back of an old distributors warehouse. No cracks, splits or missing pieces. The games and the store display box are in Perfect Condition! This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made. If you like vintage Dime Store and Variety Store stuff, bookmark us. Old plastic is heavy. One pound mailing weight.
