This set of Field Glasses also has a built in compass! Impressive features like the thumb wheel screw adjustment for moving the eyepieces in and out for focus, black leatherette covering on the tapered optical barrels, and ground glass lenses. More than just a toy they are extremely functional. Approximately 3X magnification. The compass is ½ inch in diameter and mounted between the eyepieces. Typical magnetic pointer movement with an escutcheon marked with N, E, S, W, and ¼ marks. It comes with an attached neck strap.

They are in their original dime store illustrated box. The box is 4 inches by 2 ½ inches by 1 ½ inches. It has 3 color graphics and is marked Japan. One end flap has an illustration of 2 horses racing, the other end flap has an image of a small jet airplane. Impressive 1950’s Japan item. All is in Perfect Condition. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made. If you like vintage Dime Store and Variety Store stuff, bookmark us.
