Western Toy Set ~ 1960’s Import Indian Tomahawk & Peace Pipe Whistle 1960’s Dime Store Item This two piece Western American Indian set is comprised of a 15 inch long Wood Peace Pipe Whistle. It toots a high frequency whistle when you blow in the end. The other item is a 10 ½ inch long tomahawk hatchet like Indian weapon / tool. It has a solid wood handle, Detailed by Hand with painted red & green Indian Tribe marks. It's top has a slit end, holding a 3 ½ inch long, solid hard rubber, hatchet or tomahawk head. It has distinctive features cast in the rubber and hand highlighted with silver and gold paint to make it look like the hand shaped chipped stone head of an authentic Tomahawk. Looks realistic. This was a Dime Store set. Original unsold merchandise. Perfect Condition. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made.
