Western Cowboy Set

1950's Japan

This early 1950's Western Cowboy Set is NOT plastic! It is all molded rubber. Finely detailed features. The silver colored six shooter pistol has ornate engravings including a steers head on the black handle. The holster has simulated riveted construction. It is mostly black with a horses head on the side. It is accompanied by a black belt that straps it around a little cowboys waist. An 8 ½ inch Bowie Knife with a silver blade and gold, wood grained handle is also included. It's sharp tip is snapped off at the end so it is slightly blunted.

This complete set comes with the components tied onto a display card. The card is enclosed in a clear bag with a top tag stapled on. The top tag has a steel rivet in the rack peg hanging hole. It says, Western Set on the front, and on the back in small letters it says Japan. Unique Cowboy set. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made.
