Box of Kilgore # 108

Disc Mammoth Caps

Six Shooter Cap Gun Caps

Here is a photo of the master box we found in an old dime store warehouse.

See Photo Below

For use in 6 shooter toy cap pistols. They are perforated to be used in Revolving six shooter cap pistols or guns. You get one of the small boxes 3 ½ x 1 ½ inches that contains about 18 of the discs as seen in the photo below. The box says 108 shots. The back of the box says that they are lubricated caps. It also says, A lubricant is added to all Kilgore caps to make pistol work easier and last longer.

See Photo Below

The powder dots are extra large, so they would be loud. Manufactured by Kilgore, Inc. in Westerville, Ohio USA. I would guess them to be 1950's -- no zip code on the box.  They come in the traditional Kilgore Red, White and Blue box. These caps are over a half Century old and might not all fire or be as loud as fresh caps, But all the caps are in Perfect Condition. You get one unopened box as shown below. The boxes have some insignificant age patina, minor crumples, torn flap, things expected on 70 year old dime store merchandise. We only have 5 dozen boxes. When they are gone, they are gone!
