Colorful Graphic Dime Store Display Card

This old western set is still on it's variety store display card. The 5 by 7 inch display card has outstanding graphics of Indians in war paint, floating down a river, shooting bows and arrows at cowboys who are shooting with rifles. It features distinctive western terrain and horses, highly detailed in multiple colors.

The canoe is made of hard plastic with a flat bottom, and two "mounting pegs" on the inside to position the rubber Indians. It comes with a shiny steel ballast / mounting wire that fits on the underside so it can be used several different ways for play or display. It actually floats in water without leaking, or the flat bottom also allows for dynamic table top action scenes, and the ballast wire can be used in the water for stability, or plugged through a mounting board, such as a train set, to hold it in place. The canoe has classic construction details that make it look like actual birch bark composition.

The two Indians are made of soft, light red rubber with different colors of painted fine points to add realism. One is an Indian Brave with a 2 feather headdress, skirt and canoe paddle. The other has a Chief's full feather headdress, skirt and vest. Both have small holes on the underside to fit the mounting pegs on the canoe floor. The pegs allow for pivoting motion. Their arms are pin mounted and can be positioned up or down easily. They both have exquisitely minute details right down to their eyebrows!
