Tin Lithographed Cork Pistol

Toy Popgun

Spring Loaded ~ Japan

This old actual sized tin pistol is 10 inches long. Deep stamped tin litho, tab assembled. The 4 inch barrel is bright plated. The detailed litho features include a tigers head on each handle, and typical handgun objects like the hammer, trigger guard, revolver chamber, etc. It is very attractive. It has a 2 inch spring stroke and trigger release. It comes with the cork in it’s original store package with a colorful top tag.

See Photo Below

It says in very small letters on the handle, Made in Japan. To load it, you pull back on the plunger lever until the trigger cocks. Then you insert the cork into the end of the barrel. When you pull the trigger, the spring loaded internal mechanical air cylinder discharges forward, compressing the air in the barrel, and shoots the cork a long distance at a high velocity. It makes a loud POP when the cork fires, hence the name Popgun! It works great. Perfect Condition! Original unsold dime store stock. We pack it securely and send it First Class U.S. Postal.
