Cowgirl on Horse with Indians

Tin Western Flute Horn

This tin lithographed flute horn has a loud toot! It stands 4 ½ inches high and is 1 ¾ inches in diameter. All tin, with a plastic mouthpiece and a brass reed. These were commonly referred to as a circus horn because they were sold by vendors and concessionaires at circuses as well as at dime stores, variety stores, etc. Quality made, it has a rolled rim and a crimp banded brass reed assembly. Extremely loud honk. The multi-colored lithographed graphics are sharply defined. It has an illustration of a young cowgirl, riding on her white horse. She is dressed in typical western garb.
