This Cap bomb set is called Rocket Bomb. It comes with a 12 inch launch tube, 5 ½ inch missile, and 12 paper cap charges. It works like a dart blow gun. You arm the warhead with a paper cap, load the rocket into the launch tube, and blow on the end with a good puff of air. This finned, guided missile will go between 50 and 100 feet through the air! The warhead detonates on impact with a loud bang.
Uses safe paper caps. This complete set uses a unique cap exploding device. Clever rocket design with a back pressure disk that captures lots of air energy from the launch tube. It projects from the launcher at a high velocity. It comes in its dime store package with an illustrated top tag. Danger and warning instructions are on the back of the package label. The colorful red striped launch tube is made of hefty cardboard, the missile is plastic with a spring loaded metal detonator assembly protected with a soft plastic tip. The warning reads, Only use Out Of Doors, far from Buildings, Vehicles or unaware people. I have had a lot of cap bombs, but none as fun as this!
