1960’s Flying Toy UFO Flying Saucer Two Saucers & Spring Wound Launcher This toy is a classic. In consists of a small spool shaped spring loaded, hand held launcher. You place one of the turbine disks on the launcher and wind it up. When you push up on the bottom button of the launcher, It spins off and up, and hovers around for a while. When I was a kid you didn’t get two of the turbine blade spinning flying saucers. Instead, I got out my dads ladder to get mine off the roof or out of a tree. This set includes a pair. The flying saucers and launcher are in Perfect Condition. The dime store display cad is slightly warped with age, and the plastic blister is slightly yellowed. The spinning blades are 3 inches in diameter. This is one flying toy you can do inside, because it doesn’t shoot out at a high velocity, it more or less hovers around randomly. The display card is 7 inches by 4 inches. It has an illustration and colorful graphics. Nice Classic set. This item is typical of stuff in the large Dime Store merchandise finds we made.
