Full Dime Store Display Box ~ 1960's

1960's box full of Catapult Jet Planes. They soar over 100 feet! Unique classic toy set. It consists of a plastic jet 4 ½ inches long with a wingspan of 3 ½ inches. The jet has a supersonic appearance with broad swept back wings and a cantilevered rudder. The trailing edge of the wings has an upturned edge which can be slightly bent to alter the flight path. The canopy in front has a pilot seated in place. Directly under the pilots feet is the launching sprag. This is where you attach the launching rubber band tether.

It also comes with a hand held launching stick and rubber band. You hold the launching stick, attach the airplane jet, pull it back and let it go! It shoots out at a phenomenal velocity and travels well over 100 feet. The rubber bands are old and slightly dried out, but they are a standard size and easily replaced. Otherwise the jets and the launching stick are in Perfect Condition.

You also get the dime store display box. It is the style with a pop up back marquis that perfs out and snaps up when assembled. Distinctive graphics on all sides except the bottom. Classic 1960's appearance with a boy and girl out shooting off their jets. Some minor age nips and bruises on the box, but easily reinforced to look nice on any shelf or counter. You get it all, the Display Box and 48 Jets with Launchers.

It probably contains, or is, a choking hazard, and probably includes other features that are not suitable for children to play with. It is not being sold as a toy for a child to play with, but as a genuine vintage collectable item for adults.
