Cap Bomb Satellite Grenades

5¢ Double Bang ~ 1960's Set of Four

Here's something from the early 60's that was fun! Every kid on the block had a cap bomb. You would load it up, throw it into the air, and when it lands, POW!! They are devices like small rocket bombs that you put a toy cap in, toss it in the air, and when it lands it explodes the cap. They were loads of fun. Can be used over and over until mom or dad get tired of hearing them!

Cap Satellites were the most distinctive of the cap bombs marketed. They are made with geometrical trailing fins that give it the space age appearance of the 1960's perception of what a satellite bomb would look like. These are more aerodynamically stable and fly straighter than the old WWII Bomb style cap bombs.

They were very popular for a while. They sold for a nickel, and came in a store counter display box. We show a photo of the display box below. You are not buying the boxful.
