7up ~ Die Cut Topper Display

Irish Clover Leaf ~ 1954

7-Up knew the value of point of sale store shelf marketing techniques. This 6 pack topper snaps over the center bottle and displays a die cut Saint Patrick's Day graphic promotional sign. Extraordinary, eye catching details. The 7up logo is prominently displayed in the middle. The top has a profile of an Irishman in a top hat, smoking a pipe, with a chain of clover leaves around the edge. Under the logo, it says, Top O' the Mornin', with a punch up clover leaf at the bottom to fold up and snap over the center bottle of the six pack. This turned an ordinary stack of 6 packs into a distinctive display.

This 7up topper is different than most. Most hang down or out from the center bottle. This one is designed to snap both over the bottle and under the case edge to hold it straight and strongly upward. It makes the pack 8 inches higher. It is made from extra stiff heavy card stock with red, black and Irish green printing. It is an exceptionally attractive piece. 9 inches high by 5 ¾ inches wide, die cut shape. Original 7up issue, dated 1954. This item is a half century old and in Perfect Condition. We pack it securely and mail it to you First Class U.S. Postal.
