| This exceptional color poster is 21 inches by 14 inches. It features wild colors, a nude lady and says The Rolling Stones in Concert. Several impressive posters were provided by the Stones U.S. tour promoter for local advertising of the infamous 1969 US tour.
The convoluted design and bright vivid colors were typical of the late 1960’s LSD style Rock & Roll items. A nude lady stands in the middle, with strange designs on each side and a crescent moon above all. In very small, fuzzy writing at the Bottom it says, © 1969 Stone Productions Limited. Thicker than heavy paper, but lighter than cardboard.
There is a 12 inch by 4 inch blank Venue box at the bottom where the local concert hall promoter would use a block printer or hand marker to print in the date and place and where to get tickets. This poster is blank in the venue box at the bottom. It is new and was never printed on! Unused Stones poster. Thick, glossy card stock. No folds or rips. The colors are still bright, but there is a slight yellowing age patina, otherwise Perfect Condition. |
