Gold Gilded Printing ~ OLD

This exquisite cardboard carton is adorned on all 6 sides with gilded ink with real gold flake content! It is a small cube, 3 inches on a side. 5 sides have exceptional graphics featuring a Japan lady in traditional garb. One panel has her kneeling on a cloth spread with a small tray of food and tea, another panel shows her kneeling while pouring a cup of tea, One side has her releasing a butterfly under a flowering tree, and one side has 2 Japanese Geisha Girls, one holding a paper fan the other looking out at you, with paper lamps and other Japan décor.

There is only one word on the entire carton. One side says Tea, in Japan bamboo style lettering. There is no date, but heavy use of gilded ink stopped in the late 1930's. Each side panel is framed by sparkling gilded ink. This uniquely elegant carton is unused. No fading, no tears, no folds, no nips. Perfect Condition.
