Embossed One Pint Wood Jack Sprat Berry & Fruit ~ Market Basket
 This one pint wood fruit basket was used to sell strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, fruit, etc. It has the early “Walking” Jack Sprat logo embossed "Branded" into one side. There are minor stains on the interior from berries and the wood is brittle and has some cracks. The staples are rusted, but all in all, it is in good condition for a thin wood basket from the 1930’s. You can feel the embossed black features that were stamped into the side with the logo. It is trapezoid shaped, 4 ¼ by 4 ¼ at the top and 3 ½ by 3 ½ at the bottom. It is 2 ½ inches high, with a reinforcing wood strap around the top perimeter where it is stapled.
