This neat little gadget holds 2 columns of 100 nickels. Used to make quick change at a pool hall, cigar store, tavern and other locations that had a pinball, Jukes, slot machines or an arcade game. They almost all took a nickel back before WW II.

There are 2 finger tabs on the bottom. A clerk puts his hand, palm up, under the mechanism and taps on either one for 5 nickels that drop into his already positioned palm. For change for a quarter, You draw on 1 tab. For change for a half dollar, you tap both tabs simultaneously, and for change for a buck, you draw both tabs simultaneously, twice, and You have 20 nickels in your hand in less than a second!

The tops of the coin tubes are funneled so refilling is as easy as throwing a lot of nickels on top! Only takes a little bit of counter space, 5 inch by 6 inch base stands 11 inches tall. Ideal for someone who owns a nickel slot machine or other coin-ops! Originally sold in the 1950's by Western Distributors, Co. Portland, Ore. Excellent Condition, Works Great! A few insignificant bruises, almost undetectable. All wood and steel construction.
