Edsel / Studebaker Style Convertible Car ~ Die Cast 25¢ Pack ~ 1957. This die cast toy car is 5 ½ inches long. It has 3 color painted highlights! The detailed body is painted blue. The black leather seats and folded back roof looks distinctive. The silver bumpers, grille and headlights give this toy a sophisticated look. The style is unique, it's story interesting. The two brothers that owned Midgetoy disagreed on whether their next model should be an Edsel or a Studebaker. So they decided to each contribute half to the blended design. The results were this unique combination.

The front is a 1950’s Golden Hawk Studebaker and the back is a 1950’s Ford Edsel ! They called it their Passenger Car Luxury Sedan, even though it was a convertible. It has hard rubber wheels and is in a cellophane bag with a store rack top tag that is marked 25¢. Dated 1957. Perfect Condition.
