Dribble Glass

Classic Gag ~ Practical Joke

All time classic prank! The original Adams etched glass water tumbler. This clever ruse has a fancy etched pattern of grapes on a vine going all around the glass. Here's how it works. Unknown to the user, the etched grapes pattern is etched deep enough in several locations on the vine leaves to make minute holes around the upper perimeter of the glass. They are so small you can't see them without close scrutiny!

All is fine when the glass is setting there, but beware when someone picks it up to drink from it. No matter how it is held, some of the liquid slowly dribbles down the outside of the glass and drips off the bottom. It is slow enough of a drip to be very annoying. This is the heavy glass style made by Adams' and in use from the 1930's through the 60's.

This timeless trick is in it's original nest and box, says, S.S. Adams Co. ~ Neptune, N.J.. No Zip. All is in Perfect Unused Condition We bought out an old Magic and Novelty shop and will be listing stuff that has been on their shelves for years.
