This genuine Tobacco band label fits the pocket size tobacco plugs. A tobacco plug was a small, loosely compressed puck of tobacco that was the common pocket size to buy. Depending on the cut it would be for smoking or chewing or both. Covered in foil, then wrapped with this paper band label, It sold for a nickel.
