When you pull the spring loaded trigger, a clever mechanical apparatus drops a ball into the firing position, and snaps it out of the actual shooting barrel at a high velocity.
It shoots powerfully, and the ball can hit a target pretty hard from several yards away. Automatic action! It shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Not designed for today's kids.
